Just like anything else that triggers "stimulating hormones" or "stimulating chemicals" it's simply a biological reaction the *WE* create in our minds relative to the value that we place on the stimulus and the strength of the emotion that we attach to it. For instance, some people don't stress over money, therefore, they don't create a "fear factor" in their minds when they don't have it, so, in turn, their brain does not send messages for the body to react with cortisol (the stress hormone) as it does for others. Now, as we all know, like it or not, perception is reality. The way we percieve people, places or things dictatates what emotion (if any) we attach to it. So, having said that. *Love* (as the world sees it) is simply a perception that another person is more important to us than any other, including ourselves, This perception, in turn, causes us to place a very high level of emotional value on that person. The "strength" or level of that emotional value is different for everyone depending on their level of emotional intelligence. Those who's emotional intelligence never had the chance to mature (due to, maybe, the absence of a parent growing up) tend to place a much higher value and a much stronger emotion to the "perception" of that person that *they* have created in their mind. In reality, that person is no different that you and me but in the emotionally immature mind they are above and beyond normal, which in turn, causes the brain to go into a frenzy sending a rush of chemicals to the rest of the body when that person is around.

How come we can feel it (the bite)

Yesterday I went to a bday party outside and I got tore up so bad! I started counting them when I got home and there’s 15 on my right foot, 9 on my left, and I stopped counting after 80 all over my legs. It keeps waking me up at night because of how itchy they are

I watched this experiment on youtube where they put mosquitoes into this chamber and the chamber had tubes on the sides of it. Each tube had a different blood type in it. I don't remember which blood type attracted them the most, but there was a clear blood type that the majority of the mosquitoes went to. Idk if the video was fake, but it was still quite interesting to see.

There is one thing that I have discovered that produces instant relief to the itch. I take a spoon and run it under real hot water and get it as hot as I am able to handle and apply the backside of the hot spoon to the bite. Instant relief. If water is not available a flame will do the trick. For me, instead of the spoon on places like my hands or arms or legs I might just turn on the hot water and apply it directly to the itch. Been doing it for years and it works every time...

Mosquito remedy: heat a spoon as high as you can tolerate, and press it against the mosquito bite. The heat breaks apart the protein in the bite, removing the itch.
